Online delegate registration
New employees of the Municipality of Rotterdam are off to a good start. They are welcomed during an online network meeting, in which many interactive posibilidades of our platform Transmisión Livestreams are used.
'What makes you tick?' ask the presenters during the event. The reactions via the platform flow in immediately. 'Good atmosphere', 'Results'... A beautiful Wordcloud forms on the screen in the studio, in which the word 'Collaboration' catches the eye most and is therefore most often given as a response. That's very convenient, because the Municipality of Rotterdam also likes that. With Invitado, among others.
The online welcome meetings started during the first lockdown, when physical events were no longer an option. Because we, as a registration partner of the Municipality of Rotterdam, could also offer an interactive online event platform, Transmisión Livestreams was the most obvious 'place to be' for this. This online formula turned out to be so successful that it was retained when the measures were released. The online Instroom'R Network meetings have since been organized eight times a year. Physical meetings are only held for new employees who do not work at the office.
The broadcasts are provided by AV specialist Valo (also from Rotterdam) from the municipality's own studio in the Timmerhuis. While contractors roll up their sleeves outside in Rotterdam style, Valo's technicians work closely with our online event specialist in the compact studio on an informative and interactive online event. The new employees could register via a registration form in the house style of the Municipality of Rotterdam, which has been designed in such a way that the organization only needs to adjust the date for the next edition. The newbies received their personal participation link by e-mail via our registration system.
A participation link, indeed, because sitting back passively is not an option during the broadcast. In addition to the Wordcloud mentioned above, there are polls and the participants take place in groups of six at virtual network tables to talk to each other for ten minutes. There is a short Quiz, the winner of which will be broadcast live via his webcam. The meeting will be concluded with a live poll, in which the participants can rate the network meeting. During the last edition, more than 75% of the participants rated the event with an 8 or higher. Because yes, these online introduction meetings of the Municipality of Rotterdam can rightly be called a success formula!
