On site registration
The event manager at the Netherlands Mathematical Institute (NMI) previously worked for another registration tool provider and therefore has extensive experience with event registration. So much so, in fact, that he wanted to work independently with our software. Meanwhile, the NMI is setting up registration and mailings without our help, and tickets are scanned at the entrada using their own phones.
The Netherlands Mathematical Institute develops teaching methods and conducts research in the fields of Arithmetic, Mathematics, Language, and Social Studies for both private education and schools. The methods are based on Explicit Direct Instruction (EDI), which emphasizes a structured approach, classroom instruction, clear explanation , extensive practice, and repetition of the material. Diplomas are awarded approximately fifteen times a year at various locations throughout el país.
You can bet on ten fingers that setting up 15 registration processes without the support of our specialists would result in significant savings. The NMI is tackling this head-on and creating its own forms and confirmation emails. Of course, we answer questions as they arise, but this collaboration is also running smoothly on that front, especially now that the preset that can be reused for each ceremony is active. A success story indeed!
A Puerto module is available within a project for all our clients, allowing them to independently build and use forms completely free of charge. This tool, Puerto Forms, was developed specifically for independent use. Therefore, not all the functionality of our Forma forms is available. Not all, but quite a lot...
Scanstations en support op locatie? Ook dat blijft in de samenwerking met het NMI waar het de diploma-uitreikingen betreft achterwege. De leerlingen die naar de feestelijke bijeenkomst komen, ontvangen een persoonlijke QR-code, die voor het aantal aangemelde personen toegang geeft tot de uitreiking. Bij de entree worden de QR-codes gescand met Saludo, dat op eigen smartphones is geïnstalleerd.
Ook voor de Nationale Conferentie Thematisch Onderwijs, op 28 januari 2026 in Amersfoort, richtte NMI de registratie zelf in, inclusief ticketing en online betalingen. Inmiddels is het Puerto-formulier gesloten omdat het maximum aantal aanmeldingen bereikt is. Voor de registratie op locatie van dit dus al bij voorbaat succesvolle congres zijn we wél met scanstation en printers aanwezig.
