For the second year in a row, we attended the EV Experience at Circuit Zandvoort at the end of September. After taking care of registration at the entrance last year, we were on pole position during this fifth edition of this 3-day ‘Formula EV’ event on behalf of Buro10, with online registration, an event app, badging and a specially configured tool to book test drives on location.

This case is based on the 2024 edition.
We were also active for this event in 2023 and 2025.

Test drive on F1 circuit

During the EV Experience, test drives on the challenging and imaginative F1 circuit in the dunes of Zandvoort can be made with 200 electric cars from as many as 42 different brands. Almost 200 exhibitors will be present for three days. The first two days are reserved for the business market, while on Saturday consumers are welcome to be informed, inspired and, above all, to experience for themselves. In total, we welcomed nearly 8,500 visitors.

 

E-ticket in event app

In advance of the event, which has been organised since 2019 and is accelerating the energy transition, exhibitors could invite their relaciones and visitors could register via a smart form, including for the various side events. The e-ticket was available in the event app and was scanned in the hospitality tent at the entrance, after which visitors received a personalised badge. So much for ‘business as usual’.

Test drives and leads

New this year was our solución for easy booking of test drives. Behind the windscreen of each test model was a QR code, which visitors in the paddock could scan with their event app. The desired available time slot was then selected. The form to be filled in here also within the app - in which already available data such as name and e-mail address did not have to be provided again - could be compiled by each exhibitor himself. In this way, thousands of test drives on the circuit were booked over the three days and valuable leads were generated.

Evaluation and optimisations

Meanwhile, the ‘EV-aluation’ has taken place. For the sixth edition of the EV Experience, which will take place in 2025 from 2 to 4 October, again at Circuit Zandvoort, plenty of optimisations are planned, based on this year's experience. We are already very much looking forward to it.
